Noticias
The Uber files is a global investigation into a trove of 124,000 confidential documents from the tech company that were leaked to the Guardian. The data reveals how Uber flouted the law, duped police, exploited violence against drivers and secretly lobbied governments across the world.
(…) The files cover 40 countries and span from 2013 to 2017, the period in which Uber went from a plucky startup to a global behemoth, brute-forcing its way into cities around the world with little regard for taxi regulations.
Algunos países afectados: Francia, Bélgica, Italia, Holanda, Irlanda, España, Finlandia, India, UK, US
Mexican fintech startup Stori reaches unicorn status with $50M equity raise - Tech Crunch
(…) This is notable because in most to nearly all cases, extension rounds are raised at flat valuations. It is also notable that Marlene Garayzar, chief governance officer and co-founder, is believed to now be the first Mexican women to have founded a unicorn technology startup in the country.
The fact that Stori saw “20x” revenue growth in 2021 helped boost its valuation when raising the Series C extension, Chen told TechCrunch, declining to reveal hard revenue figures. The startup earns revenue through interest and interchange fees from transactions using its credit card offerings.
